Intermissus Academy

Aim: 

Intermissus Academy formed in 2018 by a group of 10 artists all looking to present their work in context of its own formulation. Fluid like blood  through the  body, searching, feeding and delivering the messages to enable good functioning. 

Mission: 

Artists in Intermissus creating work are creating work that they need to create. The freedom of being part of this group is that they will be able to continue creating in context of artists making work in a similar vein, and not to row  backwards to seek success and a watered down version of what they create.

Membership:

Currently, we have approx. 10 artists, the help of an agent/admin and an art critic - contact us via Instagram Intermissus Academy if you would like to be considered for membership or would like to work with us as group of with any of the individual artists.

Information: Founding member of Intermissus is Katy, a multi disciplinary artist. Working in pencil, paint, other mixed media, photography. Beautiful simple explorations in art. Katy has deep connection to art: Her late husband was mariusz tchorek a well known polish art critic. his father who was a fantastic sculptor and its his studio she now inhabits in warsaw..

Merleer

Information: Merle is a student at the prestigious Royal College of Art and was asked to join Intermissus as a founding member because of her fresh dreamy exciting paint works.

Her work is moving forward and her compositions are so interesting and at time ambiguous in their conception.

Steve Durbach

Information: Founding member Steve is an amazing artist, that cuts through dimensions, and produces mystical work of the unseen. Steve’s practice is expanding, deepening and becoming more technically sound. Every new work he produces is exciting and interesting.

Linda X

Information: Linda is completely unknown and discovered by one of the artists in this group. Linda finds the soul, the true soul in the objects and then, applies this to canvas. 

Lucilla Adamo

Dreamy works of art, that touch on the subconscious dreamscape. Working in paint and drawing in the main. So fluent and interesting an artist this is poetry in pictures. 

Adreas Kahler

Information: His paintings are moving forwards with a freshness and originality rarely seen. Working with the unseen, dimensions, and subconscious. Andreas explored and developed many new works during his lifetime. He died in 2017.
